Robert Steiner is an MBA Graduate of Zurich School of Business Administration and an experienced leader of technology businesses and VC. He brings expertise in global business management with a focus on growth.
Previously, Robert was co-responsible for global consulting services at QAD, a global solutions partner providing specialist cloud ERP and manufacturing solutions. He led two of the fastest growing business units: Interoperability (integration and cloud-based EDI services) and Automation Solutions as well as all technical services.
Robert has held leadership roles with other technology businesses including JDA and Ascio Technologies as well as board membership of Kapow Technologies, IntelePeer and Scalado.
Andrew Filby heads software development, testing, UX design and product management at Data Interchange. Andrew has worked in EDI since the very beginning and has an exceptional knowledge of its applications in business and trading relationships.
Andrew joined Data Interchange in its start-up days. He was part of the original group who worked with ODETTE on EDI standards for the automotive industry and he wrote the first ODETTE FTP.
Working with Data Interchange’s customers over the years has given Andrew insight and understanding of EDI systems and cloud products. As Development Director Andrew and his wider teamwork with customers to gain insight into their changing requirements, which shapes the company’s product roadmap.
Sales & Marketing Director
Catherine Donaldson is responsible for the commercial functions of Data Interchange which include Sales, Pre-Sales and Marketing. With 20+ years’ experience, she held several key sales and leadership roles with IT and telecoms companies such as Siemens Enterprise Communications and Cable and Wireless.
She has an MBA, is a qualified Henley Management School business coach and specialises in business management and performance. She has delivered significant business improvement to executive teams in the UK and US – her larger assignments include Worldpay and Deutsche Bank.
Catherine is passionate about delivering results through people and building high performing teams. She joined Data Interchange to bring the Sales and Marketing functions together, deepen the company’s understanding of its markets and drive the next phase of business growth.
Simon Palmer is responsible for IT, Infrastructure and Customer Success at Data Interchange as well as determining the company’s technology strategy as it transitions to the cloud.
Simon’s priority is to maintain strong customer relationships and win trust by aligning appropriate resources. His teams ensures that every customer receives the level of service and support they require to achieve their business outcomes.
Simon brings extensive leadership experience in managed IT services. He has worked in many business environments from small to large organisations, as a Consultant and up to Director.
His earlier roles have all been around service provision, service delivery and support, working with traditional and cloud-based infrastructures.
Customer Solutions Director
Susan is a CIMA qualified accountant with 20+ years’ experience. She joined Data Interchange in 2016 to establish a Management Accounting function to support the leadership team. Now she heads the company’s Finance and Administration sections and provides financial control and support to the commercial decision-making functions within the company.
Susan is responsible for the implementation and management of finance systems which enable the company to track its performance. She also has a treasury management role which is key to funding the company’s programme of investment in products and services.
Susan holds a BSc in Maths and Statistics from Imperial College London, and a Masters in Statistics from the University of Kent.
Jason is an MCIPD qualified HR professional with over 20 years’ experience in a variety of businesses, from family-owned to FTSE 250 public limited companies.
He has worked with household names including: Pret a Manger, Virgin and Carlsberg, delivering projects across Europe, North America and Asia.
Jason joined Data Interchange in 2019 to partner the leadership team and develop a HR strategy which supports the business and helps people to perform at their best, develop their careers and enjoy their work.
Jason’s role is hands-on and strategic. He is responsible for supporting the growth of the organisation through the recruitment and development of our great people.
